I'm leaning towards 32GB of ram and 1TB harddrive since those updates are reasonable ($55 to go from 16GB to 32GB and $50 to go from 512GB SSD to 1TB SSD).Ī maxed out i9 processor, 4070 GPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD laptop runs at $1994. How much real world difference is there with these graphics cards? RTX 4050, 4060 or 4070? I'm leaning towards at least the 4060 since it and the 4070 have more video RAM. Should I go to an i5, i7 or i9 processor? I know that the i9 has the 5600hz memory. It will be my daily driver as well as gaming PC. I'm not that concerned about running games at the highest possible settings, but I want something that will run modern games at good settings AND be future proofed since I intend to keep this laptop for another 5 years. However, I'm undecided as to which configuration I should get. My budget is $1500-2000 but if it's worth it then I would be willing to spend a little more. I've read the reviews and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 series seems to be the best combo of quality, price and features. ![]() ![]() My old laptop is a Dell G series from 5 years ago. I'm in the market for a new gaming laptop.
